This catfish recipe is very fast. So if have no time but a wish to approve your culinary gift – go ahead!


Ingredients:

  • 6 pieces catfish fillet (150 g each)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dry thyme
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 dash of paprika
  • 50 ml. dry white wine
  • 1 lemon juice

Cooking time: 20 min.


Preparation:
Wash and dry the fillet. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Melt the butter in a frying-pan and put paprika in it. Pour lemon juice and mix. Put the fish down into the butter and overblow with condiment blend. Heat the frying-pan and fry the fish 2 minutes from each side. Lay the fish onto a dish. Pour butter blend into a pan, add white wine and stir – hereby you get a sauce. Shower the catfish with the sauce and dish it up immediately.

Today we introduce one of catfish recipes of Greek kitchen. As you know, There is everything in Greece, even catfish :-) .

Greek catfish recipes with spinage

Ingredients:

  • 4 catfish fillet (approximately 600 g)
  • 300 g.  frozen carved spinage
  • 3/4 cup crumbed Feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 bunch-onions
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper


Cooking time: 30 min.

Praparation:
Unfreeze the spinage and push it dry up. Oil a frying pan and put catfish fillet. Sprinkle every piece of fillet with 1 tsp of salt and peper mixture. Mingle spinage, Feta cheese, oregano, melted butter, fine-cut bunch onions and the rest of peper and salt in an other bowl.

Cover each catfish fillet with the blend. Bake during 15-20 minutes at 175ºC till the fish bacame soft and you can easily pierce it with a fork. Serve immediately.

Ingredients:

  • 120 g. smoked catfish fillet
  • 100 g. round rice
  • 200 g. canned crabmeat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tbsp. mayonnaise sauce
  • 4 dill twigs
  • 4 small tomatoes for decoration
  • 2 middle size cucumbers for decoration
  • Salt

Cooking time: 30 min.

Preparation:

1. Boil rice untill it is cooked, then wash it with cold water. Simultaneously boil two eggs hard, chill and choop them down.

2. Peel the onion, dice and scald it (don’t cry, baby). Wash dill twigs, dry and slash them. Mix crabm

eat with prepared onoin and rice, add eggs and dill. Season salad with mayonnaise sauce and salt and gently mix the blend. Wash tomatoes and cucumbers.

3. Then you need to slice tomatoes to get fine pats and to dice cucumbers (they must be scaled befo

re). And now pretend you are chief cook: lay the tomatoes out on a plate, then lay crab salad out accurately

with a serving ring.

4. Decorate the dish with cucumbers, salt and put smoked catfish fillet pieces from above.

Guests are all steamed up about you! Selebrate it!

Today I represent to you an lightish catfish recipe ycleped “catfish patties”.

Catfish patties can be cooked either in deep-fat or by steaming – up to you.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2lb catfish fillet
  • 2 hunch of wheat-bread
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4lb rusk flour
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1carrot
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • salt
  • ground white pepper

Cooking time – 30 min.

Preparation:

1. Cut the catfish fillet into small pieces. Put the bread hunches into water for 3-4 min. and mince it with catfish fillet.

2. Beat up the egg in a separate bowl.
3. Add the egg into catfish and put the following ingredients: salt, pepper. Pound and mix until you get a fine mince.
4. Create fish cutlets, crumb them and fry with vegetable cooking spray till just cooked. Garnish with carrot and cucumber slices.

As for me one of the most sweet catfish recipes is catfish in sesame.

Ingredients:

  • 1lb catfish filet
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lemon
  • salad
  • parsley green
  • salad-oil or cooking spray
  • 5 tablespoon of sesame seed
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Cooking time – 55 min.

Preparation:

1. Clean the catfish filet by rinsing under cool, running water, followed by patting it dry with paper towels.
2. Sprinkle with lemon juice, salt and pepper on both sides to taste.
3. Dip catfish in egg and cover with sesame seed.

4. Fry the catfish pieces until fish starts to flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Serve with salad, parsley and lemon slices.
